Eco-Assessment of Property Our consultants will determine what green improvements you may need to make in order to save on the cost of electric, gas and water utility bills.
First, we will perform an on-site home, office or building inspection of that will include an assessment of the quality, useful life, energy consumption and environmental impact of the following:
- Electrical System and Fixtures
- Heating and Cooling System
- Plumbing System and Fixtures
- Windows and Doors
- Appliances
- Roof
We provide you with a report that contains the various ways that you are losing or wasting energy and water.
We also provide you with a list of recommended improvements which will dramatically reduce your utility bills, as much as 20-30%.
The small investment in this report can yield hundreds of dollars of utility bill savings each year!
Eco-Assessment of Person(s)
In addition to obtaining a Eco-Assessment of a Prpoerty, mentioned above, our consultants can assess your personal environmental impact, and that of all occupants of your home or office.
This assessment focuses on human actions, habits and behaviors in the home or office building that affect the utility bills and the environment, which include:
- Carbon Footprint (Carbon Monoxide Gas Emission)
- Use of Electrical Appliances
- Use of Lighting
- Use of Heating
- Use of Cooling
- Use of Water
- Use of Transportation
- Use of Consumer Goods or Products that contain Pollutants.
- Use of Non-Recyclable or Non-Biodegradable Materials
- Use of Recyclable Materials, and Recycling behavior
(For recycling, we assess your consistency and the types of materials that you routinely recycle: glass (bottles), plastic (containers), cardboard (boxes), aluminum (soda cans), steel (from canned goods), newspaper and paper, etc.)
You will complete an Energy Use and Environmental Impact Questionnaire. With your responses and our findings and observations, we will prepare a brief report that will score your energy use and environmental impact on a scale of 1 to 100. The higher the score the more eco-friendly you are! All reports will contain recommendations to reach 100.
